Nordic Conference
on
Open and Roadside Churches
was 2010 in Helsinki
The sharing of common experiences, expectations and practices was very
encouraging. We discussed the role of the church as a community of the
people of God and also the church buildings as vital parts of spirituality,
including pilgrimages.
From the Open and roadside churches’ point of view we discussed,
what do we mean by:
- preserving cultural heritage
- missionary work, pilgrimages
- meeting with tourists in various ways.
Some material of the conference is available
